Purpose and Mandate of Small Blessings Community Council
Our Community Council is a group of volunteers who ensure that Small Blessings is efficiently and effectively administered. The Council functions as an advisory board in program and policy matters to the Director in order to enhance the excellence of service.
Responsibilities: To develop and review on a regular basis the mission, goals, objectives and strategic plan of the centre and work within it's resources to meet the needs of the client.
Ensure established policies and procedures provide the framework for management and operation of Small Blessings.
Ensure that staff and facilities are appropriate for the services provided.
Ensure quality management programs are established for the regular evaluation of quality of service and care.
Ensure services are regularly evaluated in relation to generally accepted standards.
All information obtained at Council meetings is to be held in the strictest confidence and is not to be shared with other parents as it relates to children and staff members.

If you have a concern or suggestion that you would like to be addressed, please feel free to reach out to one of our parent representatives at your convenience. Complaints and/or grievances are to be addressed in the following manner:
Speak to the teacher in charge of your child.
If satisfaction is not forthcoming, speak to the Director of the centre.
If you feel you still have a problem that has not been dealt with you can do any or all of the following:
Send a complaint in writing to the The Salvation Army Moncton Citadel - Corps Officers and/or
Complaints can be forwarded to one of our parent representatives (emails above).
Complaints can be forwarded to the Coordinator for Early Childhood Services at Department of Education and Early Childhood Development - email and phone number posted in main lobby.
